Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting those eggs.)

    Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Waiting for those first eggs sure can seem to take an age :pop When you do find those little treasures it's so exciting!! I still get giddy when I find one from a new layer. You would think I had never seen an egg before!!

Good luck with those eggs. Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow

Have a little more time to post... Our three girls are Golden laced Wynadotte, a polish top hat and a red star. they are good girls. :) Our coop is kind of small but we let them out whenever we can so they seem pretty happy. :)

Your red star (a sex link girl) will give you nice big brown eggs once she starts. If I remember correctly, our 3 were about 20-22 weeks old when they first laid.

Hope you see that first egg soon!
