Hello I am a new member here are our 6 chickens that we bought 1 week ago at 18 weeks old from Hinchliffes farm in Huddersfield, England. I would appreciate any advice for a first time chicken owner, thank you.[IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Please make yourself at home! What breeds did you buy? That is a nice looking coop and run area. I would advise checking out the learning center: https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center for helpful articles and tips. Also feel free to ask if you have any questions!

    Out to pasture
Welcome to Backyard chickens - very tidy set up for them BUT, have to caution you, it will not keep out any sort of predators. They climb, jump, dig and foxes in particular will have a field day and easy lunch.

Please check out the predator threads on BYC, for advice on protecting your flock.
