I just joined but have been reading a lot on this website. There is a lot of good information here. I am new to raising chickens and started a flock for my 9 and 7 year old girls to help with. We bought 5 as unsexed and went back and got 3 more as they were supposed to be pullets from tractor supply. I will be posting to try to find out how many Roos I have and breeds.
 
Welcome! Good luck with your new chickens!! I loved helping my parents with chickens when I was that age. I hope your girls enjoy it too!
