Hello everyone!! I have had chickens, turkeys, meat birds, and a couple of ducks, geese, and guinea hens for a while now. I know, it is definitely an addiction. My family calls me the crazy chicken lady, lol.
I am new to raising geese, I have three and would like to try to raise some goslings next spring. I am sure I will have questions for all of you more experienced people.
I also have a pair of Bourbon Red turkeys that I am hoping to raise some poults from next spring as well.
My three guinea hens are all the same sex, I am sure...but for the life of me I have not figured which sex they are.
I am very happy to be a part of this group, and look forward to all there is to learn from all of you!!

Greetings from Kansas and :welcome. Great to have you here! Plenty of "crazy" chicken folks around here...and every other kind of poultry. Make sure you stop and say hi to the folks in the geese, guineas, and turkey threads in this link https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/66/other-backyard-poultry
Best wishes and have fun with all those different types of poultry! :)

Welcome to Backyard chickens. Or you might just put "Guinea thread," in the search box and it will pop up for you.

Welcome to BYC! It's great to have you.

Guineas are best sexed by sound. Males and females can both "git-git-git", but only females can "buckwheat."
