Hi,
I started keeping ducks last March 2018 and raised three Khaki Campbells from week olds. They have a hutch and an 8x6 run but are mostly foraging in our garden of 90 feet long. They lay each day and follow me around in the garden as I dig or prune. I have not seen a snail or slug for some months now.
I acquired a further two Campbells today whose condition is not so good. They are very skinny and their wing feathers are raggedy. They are 18 months old and so far are in the same run as the other pair so I would like to fatten them up and improve their condition. Any ideas? The others get at will layer pellets, some swan and duck floating food, snacks of a pea and sweet corn salad with oats and same before bedtime. Mealworms too from time to time and free range all day.
