    Hello
My name is Tina and I live in NC. My daughter joined FFA so we’re going to raise some chickens. I haven’t had chickens since I was a kid. We got a incubator and are going to hatch some eggs. Look forward to learning the new stuff about chickens.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens, Tina! We are glad you joined the flock!:welcome BYC is a helpful site providing all of the information you need to know about poultry. There is always space for members on the BYC roost!:highfive: Good luck with your incubation plans and experiences! It is a very interesting project, especially observing embryonic development.

Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!

Are you going to be hatching a specific breed or an assortment?

Were are going to hatch Marans, Swedish flower, silkies and bantam polish. Yes it will be lots of fun. The silkies and polish are from a flock of show birds
