I grew up with all kinds of animals from cows to chickens, peacocks, pheasants, turkeys, and doves and pigeons. I just got my own. I have a red sex link hen and rooster, RI red hen, and boardrock hen. I wanted to start small and possibly get more in time. I have 3 boys so I got them for the eggs and to teach my boys about the farm life. I have pinestraw in my boxes since I have plenty of pine trees. Any tips are appreciated since I have been out the game for so long.
