Hi All.
I am a new chicken mom as of April when the chicks came in the mail. Everyone said there would be loss but all 15 made it, so now I have a larger flock than I anticipated. There has been quite a learning curve, and reading posts here has been tremendously helpful.
I have a mixed flock...selected mainly because they made me smile: Delawares, Columbian Wyandottes, Golden Polish, Penciled Hamburgs, and Isa Browns. I ended up with one surprise rooster and am hoping to be able to keep him (hoping the neighbors wont complain!). Can't wait to post my questions !
