I’ve lived on my 5 acres in Idaho since 1996. I’ve had different breeds of chickens throughout that time. I currently have 2 turkey hens, 2 khaki ducks (hen and drake) and an assortment of chickens, 13 hens and 3 roosters. We also have 4 horses, 5 dogs, 2 cats, 1quaker parrot, 1 leopard gecko and a mischief of rats. It is my husband, me and our 13 yr old daughter. I’ve always loved animals and my daughter does too, even tho I am the one to clean up after them all. 🙄 I love the farm life and I can always learn more. Especially about the health of the poultry. What a lovely menagerie of critters! That's one of the great things about country life -- the ability to have as many and as many different kinds of animals and birds as it takes to make you happy, although that whole cleaning up thing usually isn't the best part of the day. :)
