We live in North Texas. We have a small farm with chickens, ducks and goats. Today a shelter volunteer contacted me to rescue some baby ducks a citizen brought to the shelter they had found behind a grocery store. Doing some research they appear to be day old wood ducks. 😳 Any advice appreciated to help them survive! We have raised baby ducks from our own eggs and hatchlings, but never orphaned wild ducklings.

I think that is wonderful the ducks fell into your hands.
If that would have happened to me, I personally would put them in my enclosed chicken run with feed and water. I'd leave them in their own housing for a couple of months and be creature of habit with them. They will know where home is by me doing this. 🇨🇱
This is what I would do personally.
Best Wishes.
