My wife and are in the process of finishing up our coop and run, and I've depended on this site for all kinds of ideas and helpful hints. My Uncle, who lives in way, way upstate New York was our inspiration for trying to raise a few chickens here at the Jersey Shore. I have a friend nearby who has raised chickens for several years, and it seems that more and more people in this area are getting into it.

I have some experience with show/meat rabbits and plan to add a trio sometime in the future as well.

Anyway, I guess I have been "lurking" long enough. Hello to all. I really am impressed by the openness of the folks on the forum, and all the information that is freely given.
