My husband and I are now proud (adoptive!) parents of 13 new chicks, 12 different breeds! We are at the end of our first week and are both crazy for our "chicken-time" with the new peepers. Prior to buying our birds, we checked out all the personalities of the different breeds, the egg production, colors, etc. Our coop and run arrive this coming week, and we think we're ready! Now we just have to wait for the next 5 weeks until they can go outside and play safely! Until then, we're happy just sitting and watching, holding, petting, and laughing at all their cute antics.
