    They look oriental to me, crosses or otherwise. Where'd you obtain them from?

    I bought him locally as a jungle fowl, but I had my doubts. After looking up Asil, I do believe you all are correct. I do like him though, he has a manly crow.

    What is his weight? Body type and head shape appear to be a bit like a thai gamefowl, possibly a thai cross. Tail is all wrong for a pure aseel, but that doesn't mean there isn't any in there. Definitely not a jungle fowl, they have wattles and nice straight combs, this guy has a lot of oriental in him notice the pea comb and lack of any wattles...

    might have come from hatchery stock of saipans or malays. some hatcheries called them the jungle fowl of their areas or junglefowl like.



    there's also a bloodline of gamefowl called "black junglefowl".
