Hello, after years of talking about getting chickens we finally caved. We are now proud new parents of 6 Rhode Island Red chicks and 2 ducklings that we have no clue of their breed yet.

As new parents of the clucky kind we have brooded them together and now the ducks herd the chicks at times and the chicks follow the ducks.

We are still learning but will get the hang of it...

Heres a funny photo to share...hubby decided to try to be a chicken and see what happens....they followed.

Looks like we have a "crazy, chicken man," for a change. As long as the chicks don't mind. [IMG][IMG]
