New Partridge Silkie Hens I just purchesed, how is the best way to breed them?

I have a fair few questions about Partridge Silkie's and hoping you guys can help me out.

I brought these hens yesterday for $40 each (AUS) and they are at the point of lay. Because I want to breed them in the future is that a reasonable price to charge considering there age? Or are the Pure White Silkie's worth more. Personally I love the look of the Partridge Silkie's.

Also I remember reading somewhere that crossing different breeds of Silkie's can be complicated, so if I wanted to breed them would buying a Partridge Silkie Rooster be the smartest option? Or can I cross it with white Silkie, what would the results be.
