Please mo judgment, we already feel bad enough!
We have several new peeps as of yesterday. After losing two we decided to help one out the two that we lost were completely developed but it looked like they had been smothered or suffocated. Is there a chick had tried to hatch almost two days. So we stepped in and immediately regretted it.
I made it through the night. It's in a warm place and somewhat active. It's taking water and we're trying to keep a hydrated. Is the discharge the umbilical cord and membrane or is this the yolk sac that burst. I'm trying to keep it moist. What more should I be doing?
