New Pekin babies.. Pond plan squashed....Pic

We got 6 very cute pekin babies 2 days ago. We have an enormous pond. Went back to figure out what we were going to do. well some ducks moved in already this spring. I couldn't get duck pictures because there is a huge nest of eggs. Almost got my face ripped off. Then Mr.&Mrs.Goose decided we can't get any further either.
So I will rehome 2 ducks and do the kiddy pool thing. I am sure I can't integrate wild and domesticated ducks.

Oh I forgot my questions. Do you think they will be happy with a kiddy pool when they can see my pond so close by??

When they get bigger and fully feathered and grown, they may go in the pond fine.
The Canadas will migrate and the nests will be empty. And the protectiveness you are seeing will be gone too.

I think that they will be very happy with the kiddie pool. I wish that I had canadian geese at my pond. They only stop for a day and then they're gone. lucky!
