I just love to hear the longcrowers crowing. And the Tomaru are not too bad on the eyes, either.

Tomaru. They are supposed to be solid Black, but this one came silver and black, which works out for me even better. His head is not as dark as it was because he stays in the pen with his ladies now and gets a lot less sun.

Denizli. This is the only pure Denizli I have now, I have sold all the others.

My Denizli is still just a baby. He's out in the barn now with the
heat of his own feathers. They grow up so fast.

I love long crowers, but I think my neighbors would run me out of town. I already have a lot of extra roosters that need new homes.

Quote:I ordered the eggs off Ebay as a joke. The guy is out of Texas and has
some nice birds. I forget his name.

He is a sweet little bird. We'll see how his crowing goes. We usually eat
our roosters out of respect for our neighbors. But, since we already have
a Blue Orp roo and some silkie roos we may try and get away with keeping
    him.

See how he crows, and don't eat him unless it is normal like a normal chicken. If he has a good crow, someone will take him.
