I'm on a picture taking roll right now, so I took the Cochins out for their first photo shoot...

And this is my all time favorite picture that I have ever taken of ANY of my birds!!! It think it looks like a post card that should say "Howdy, From the Farm!"

I wish my SO liked white chickens, because I'd like my entire flock to be white. Nothing prettier than a white chicken against a landscape of green. Your pics are gorgeous [IMG]

I like white too, but white Silkies are the most competitive and usually the largest class at the shows. I like to be different, which is why I chose buffs, lavs, and black/blues. But I agree, nothing like a white bird! So I chose Cochins... LOL

Gorgeous photos! I love the contrast of the red combs and the green grass.

I only have one white roo, one white straight featherd hen and one white frizzle. Couple of chicks in the brooder but that is it.

Believe it or not, its a Fujifilm point and shoot. I'm looking into a new Olympus E520 dSLR at the current time.

I've got training in 35mm and Medium Format, I just haven't moved into the digital world yet. I used to work for a professional photographer shooting weddings, events, and portraits.
