I swear these three just get prettier everytime I look at them. The colors are just incredible. Aran, if you read this thread then the answer to your question on the yellow beard is tumeric. Given as a supplement to help boost the immune system, it is not a friend to white or light feathered chickens. Kinda like someone wearing clear braces and then eating mustard. These three have the best disposition. One of the girls is more reserved and timid. She is the one with the red band and she will stay with Ichabod. However, the other one will just go off with the other flocks and mingle. Ichabod though is the sweetest rooster I have ever encountered. You can tell that he is a show bird. You can just handle him and do just about anything with him. He just sits there and lets you do it. Thanks goodness, because those spurs are nothing to sneeze at. Enjoy the pictures! Also to let you guys know, I posted some updated pictures of my babies who are now 7 weeks old. You can see them in the "Raising Baby Chicks".

If the girls ever decide to lay again, I was thinking about it. They've had a lot of stress put on them. Moved to a new home and then molting. Hoping they will start laying again soon. I'll keep you all updated.
