What beautiful babies. That's funny that they like the french fried onions. Mine go crazy for tomatoes.

Such nice girls, beautiful and so healthy. Just wondering, though, will the onion give a strange flavor to their eggs? Nice dogs, too.

i feed them onion from the garden, and i havent noticed a difference in the eggs.

mine go crazy for tomatoes too. i have a few tomato plants in the garden, and seems like none of my fruit make it past the size of a half dollar [IMG] oh well. DH doesn't like tomato, so at least someone is eating it!

they both ate quite a bit of chick starter when the girls were babies and had the runs for a few hours. hahaha it was gross. and they never learn. they still eat whatever i give the chickens. hahha [IMG]

Here's my silver spangled Hamburg, Phoenix, and my golden Campine, Kitty Cat, going crazy for tomatoes.

It's so funny how I can give them more tomatoes than there are chickens, yet they will chase each other all over the yard for one tomato (although here they are eating their own)! Just like children....
