I picked up RIR Roo for the girls. He's still a little young, i've only heard him crow a couple of times otherwise he's pretty quiet. Im hoping he will feetlize some eggs for me. So I can start to refresh the RIR flock.

When your hens start to have naked necks and backs, then you know roo is in full swing. You can tell if eggs are fertile by looking at the yolk when on your skillet. There are threads that show pix of how fertile yolks look. If you need help, I can find those threads.
