New Rooster added to flock of 14 Hens

My Friend is adding a Rooster to her flock of 14 hens so that I can have some fertile eggs to incubate.
How many days do you ALL think it should take for New Rooster to get acquainted with the hens and we can start collecting eggs for the incubator?

It may take a week or so. Just watch to see when the hens accept his advances.

Oh boy, once you hatch your eggs you will have even more roosters eventually.

how old is the rooster? i'd give it at least two weeks and if it is a young docile rooster you may have to wait three weeks
