My neighbor gave me a rooster last week. He is such a pretty bird! Anyway, when I went to close the door on the coop last night I couldn't find the little ones in the coop! I thought maybe there were under the coop nope not there then I looked under the ramp no not there either. I started to get worried. Then I heard the peeping? I looked inside and all of them were laying beside and under the rooster! [IMG] I thought that was the funniest thing I have ever seen. [IMG] The two hens were on the roost and rooster was on top of the bag of pine shavings with all the chicks around him! He can't get to the top of the roost because the neighbor clipped his wings.

[IMG] [IMG] That's great. Even better if the babies decide to follow him around everywhere [IMG]
