New Silkie rescue

My husband rescued a white silkie who was being pecked to death by some RIR a friend of his have. Right now we have her in a separate pen until her feathers grow back. We also have RIR but I am afraid if we put her in with them after she heals, she will be picked on again. Will she be safe with them or would it be better for her if we got some silkie chicks for her and put them in a separate coup? Any advice would be helpful.

I would recommend get some more silkie chickens
And keep them separate to the rir
Because the silkies look so different to the rir
The rirs will pick on the silkies
So I would get some more silkies
