    oh yeah
The feed store guy says they are hens. I don't really rely on him, since he has sexed chickens wrong before...

Right now, they are sitting, and sleeping in the corner of the coop. Is this normal for the 1st day>

Quote:Silkies don't like to roost much. They will probably sleep in the corner from now on. I think one looks like a rooster and one a pullet. I'm not an expert on quality, so maybe someone else will chime in today.

Really? A roo and a hen?
I feel only very tiny pimple like bumps for their spurs.
U sure? I think 2 hens. But lets get some more experts/2nd opinion about them

Quote:Spurs are not an accurate way to sex a chicken. Both males and females get them, though the males do get theirs earlier. It takes them a a while to grow.

I agree with a Pullet and Cockerel or possible two Cockerels, the pics weren't that great.

As far as quality, they are pet quality.

I agree with a pullet and a cockeral, from the look of their combs.

Also, being a believer of old wives tales(i know, not accurate)
I went around with a plum bob(I use it for dowsing lol), and went around and get the gender of every one, and everything in the house.
    all was accurate! lol
SO Im guessing 2 hens, till someone else chimes in.
    I'm so defiant!!! UGH! [IMG]

After close observation, Seeta is the leader of the peck order.
Both are doing ok, but for some reason, they both kinda show submission to each other(they preen each other a lot)
