Hi. My name is Christie and we've been wanting chickens for over 2 yrs and have never gotten around to actually doing it. We got 10 from Rural King for Easter. 3 red comets, 3 white leghorns and 4 Rhode Island Reds. Loving this new adventure.

Hi Christie and [IMG] - glad to have you onboard.

The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced chicken keepers - loads of info on anything chicken. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Joining your state thread may be useful as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - just type the name of your state in the search box.

    All the best

You're going to be swimming in eggs once those girls start laying, lol. Glad to hear you are having fun with them!
