Hello everyone I am new to raising new chicks I have ordered 15 pullet and got 17 they are 2 weeks old and are all doing great except for 1 she was fine then a couple days ago I went to check on them I keep them in the house and 1 was isolated and sleeping a lot so I put her in a pin by herself and she would not eat or drink the next day she could not walk I started giving her pedialight and water mixed by a dropper every 30 minutes to 1 hour she seemed to get more alert not as weak but still can't walk I gave her poly vi sol vitamins it's been about a week and she has started eating some but can't hardly get to the food to eat she can move her legs but cannot sit upright stand or walk. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with her?? Is there anymore I should be doing? Please help!!

Sometimes they just come in weak and don't recover. I know that's not much of an answer but when chicks go through the mail you lose one once in awhile. You never know, though. She may pull through. Not to be the bearer of more bad news but...if you ordered 15 and got 17, the two extras are likely boys. There is little demand for them and hatcheries do this to reduce their stock. If you can accommodate roosters, that's great. Sometimes they send some really cool exotics! Best of luck to you!
