New to baby chicks & chickens in general

    We were recently given about 14-15 chickens including some rooster. We kept the main RIR rooster & younger white one. i have no idea what kind the chickens are. one hen decided last mon to sit on her egg. Not knowing if it was fertilized or not & not wanting her to waste 3 wks on just one egg we got a few eggs from another man to place under her. Well we got 4 little babies. i was wondering if anyone could mayb see what kind of babies we have. [​IMG]

    Keep in mind that it can be difficult to identify breeds with chicks, but the members who hang out in that section really know their stuff, so hopefully someone will be able to tell you.
