Hi,
I live in North Carolina and have had chickens all of my life. I've actually been on Backyard chickens a lot, every time I have a question about something there always seems to be someone on here with the right answer. So now I have finally decided to join! We have lost a lot of chickens to predators lately; I actually saw a bobcat in the act last week. I recently hatched 29 silkie chicks and have ordered 50 new pullet chicks to come in February so hopefully we will soon have a lot of healthy hens. We also have three ducks, three turkeys, goats, and a llama. Thanks for having such a great informative site, I look forward to continuing to use it.
