new to backYardchicken 20 new chicks

Hi.
What a great site.I had 20 chicks hatch on sat,They are all doing great.I have them on chick starter I got at the feed store.But was wondering if I should be feeding a medicated feed?
We have mostly silver laced wyandotte.10 hens none of them went broody this past summer I have read that they dont go broody vary often is that true? Im waiting for golden laced eggs to arrive maybe i can hatch some of them.

from Indiana! You'll find a mix of opinions about the medicated chick starter...I do use it, but a lot of folks say they never used it and have healthy/happy birds. I'm new to chickens, and don't know all of the "natural" treatments out there, so give me the medicated!!! Takes the guesswork out for me.
