(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We got chickens 4 moths ago. I built out coop/run in the first 2 months. We just got out first 2 eggs today!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

Buff Orpington, Australorp, California White, Plymouth Rock, Brown Star, Golden Laced Wyandotte
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The are fun to watch and have around. The make us all laugh often.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Woodworking and camping/backpacking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My wife and I have 3 kids (8, 5, 3) and we have a cat.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found BYC doing a google search for chicken keeping questions, only knew about it since today, decided it would be helpful to have access to a forum like this longer term.

The setup of your coop is really nice and substantially built! Definitely free of daytime and nocturnal predators. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!
