I am new to having Blue Swedish ducks. I started w/ 4 and something took one. I am heartbroken and scared to death to let my ducks out of there pen now. Any suggestions on how to keep them safe when out and about. Here is a picture of all of them swimming. I love them!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Cute ducks, sorry about the one you lost. You might want to try posting in the BYC Predator/Pest and Coop/Run forums for ideas on a set up to keep your little guys safe.

[IMG]. I agree with the above posters. There's really no way to keep them completely safe from predators when free ranging. Do you happen to know what took the other duck?
