I am hooked on some of the threads I've been reading on here, and found some awesome ideas of feeders and waters. Reason we have selected guineas is we live on 10 acres adjoined to family and we have a ton of cedar trees that house TICKS. We are looking for suggestions on how to help start a Guinea flock. If anyone has some pointers I would love to hear of them.
    Thanks

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about Guineas, but Kelsie2290 has given you a good link to our Guinea section and I'm sure that our Guinea experts there can help you out. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting your Guineas.

I have heard they are great for tick problems. I hope they solve this issue.

All I know about guineas is they are supposed to be the best tick eaters, and they make a great alarm system when anything surprises them. I know the guinea threads and people will be able to answer your questions . Welcome to byc
