    Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Congrats on your new geese :clap I'm not a goose person after being chased by them as a kid  Have you checked out the geese section? Here is the link for any questions that you may have about them ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/47/geese

What breed are your hens & roo? Have you had them long? The learning centre link that Michael left for you has some fab articles.

Wishing you the very best of luck in the future. Enjoy BYC :frow

What breed of geese did you get? I've thought about trying them but ducks will probably come next (right now I have chickens). It would be fun to see a picture or two of your birds if you'd care to share.

If you'd like to meet other members from FL, come join us on our state thread:

The geese are Chinese 1 brown 1 white I think they are both female after chasing them down and feeling on them (that's weird!) but it makes sense. Females are suppose to have a wide-v with a space for eggs and makes a closer v ( no egg room ). So yeah we're gonna see how it goes, they're are rather cool and I actually got to pet them after catching them they were quite docile.
