Hi all! I'm Janay (LadyHawkeAvry), and together with my daughter Briana, we run LadyHawke Aviary. I'm here to share what I know, and learn the stuff I don't. We produce ducks, geese, quail and pheasants, and are about a year into our production business. I have raised and shown chickens in the past. We live for our birds, as evidenced by the Saxony duck hen currently sitting on a clutch of eggs in a storage tub nest box in our bathroom... I look forward to meeting everyone!

Welcome to BYC, Janay. Glad you decided to our flock. How old is Briana? Raising poultry is a wonderful experience for children. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loves our chickens. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your aviary.
