Was wondering if Cedar Coop is ok for Silkies

Depends on what type of cedar, and if it's been painted/treated/etc. If it smells aromatic, I would not use it or would set it aside a long while to air out. My old coop was 100% cedar, current one has cedar trim (but fully painted over), neither smelled cedar-y so I felt fine using them..

In wouldn't use cedar around chickens. The aromatic cedar is the problem.

Much of the cedar lumber is not aromatic.
