New to chickens. 4 week old gender help please?

Hi, we aquired a single chick at 2 days old from a friend. Now 4 weeks old and wonder if anyone would be able to help with gender? Or would it be too early.

It is a little young, but looking like a pullet so far. I would post pictures in a few weeks to confirm. Welcome to BYC!

Thank you. We hadn't even considered getting a chicken until we took our little Charlie chick. Now we are completely in love. I will be patient and post again in a few weeks

If you only have this one chick, you need to get at least one or two more. Chickens are flock animals and need company.
