    Hello,

I am buying a place that will allow me to have chickens. Yippee! I have a lot to learn. I am thinking I will convert a freestanding carport to a coop. Can't wait!

Welcome, this is definitely the place to f ind all the information you need to know about chickens. Everyone here is also very friendly and offer great advice.
I also live in NC, so... howdy neighbour and hope you find raising chickens as entertaining as we do.
