New to chickens

I got my first 3 chickens last year. I got Blaxk Australorps and I absolutely LOVE them, well 2 of them. One ended up a cockerel and since I'm in city limits I found a ranch for him to live. I just recent got 3 more chicks which are a Barred Rock, a Buff Orpington and a Silver Laced Wyandotte. Only problem so far is I believe my BR is a cockerel as well. Apparently our local stores pullets seem to be more like straight runs. Anyway, I'm excited to learn more about them all and becoming a part of this great group!
