New to Chickens

Hello all, my name is Lisa and Today I picked up a coop and 4 chicks and one baby duck.

I sealed the coop and got it together. That was a fun experience.

I have been spending a lot of time with them, I can't resist because they are just adorable.

I have 7 dogs, 5 cats, 4 rabbits, and several fish. The chickens are a new adventure. I'm excited to be part of this community to learn how to become a great owner.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Watch you chicks and duckling if they share the same brooder. Ducks love to splash and get wet, chicks do not and could end up chilled. Ducks are also much messier poo-wise, they have the power to cover walls, ceiling and floor
