New to chickens

Good evening!
I am new to chickens, and this site kept coming up in my googling.

We have four chicks in the bathroom right now and they are three-ish weeks old. Hopefully they are all pullets, since we live in a city and that's all we can have. They are Asian Black, Golden Comet, Cinnamon Queen, and White Rock. (Kylo Hen, unnamed, Cleo, and Princess, respectively.)

I'm an animal lover, nerd, and mom to two human daughters (pretty sure on this one.. I didn't get them from bins at TSC ) My boyfriend and I just bought a house together in Fredericksburg, VA. I'm super excited because it came with a coop and a run.

The previous home owners had chickens, so there's a coop waiting to be cleaned out, if these darned Nor'easters would knock it off!
