new to chicks from Western North Carolina

    thanks for having me....I was thrilled to find you guys! My niece found a chick that someone had discarded after prob recieving it as an Easter gift....I am hooked. Just a tiny Rhode Island Red, HAD to find it some company so I was finally able to purchase 14 more.....and we are lovin' it.Would love to find a source of chicks in Western North Carolina because I think I am going to have to have many, many more ![​IMG]

    Wayne's Feed Store in Murphy NC has chicks.
    Mountain Valley Feed Store in Hayesville NC also has chicks. They rotate the breeds that are available...Not sure what is the "featured" chicken of choice this week!
