I have a hen who went broody and sat on eggs. They hatched Saturday 6/28/14. I had put her in a hutch that is up off the ground to sit and hatch the eggs. She has been separated from the rest of the flock sense she started sitting. When should I take her and the chicks out of hutch. How long should I leave them out. When should I introduce them back to the rest of the flock. Any advice would be helpful thanks. This is the first chicks I have had.

Keep her and the chicks isolated to themselves for now. Other members of your flock might peck them and it could get bloody. Your broody will take good care of them, rest assured! She'll keep them in tow and let them know when they can venture out..it's usually at 2-3 weeks when that occurs. Around 5 weeks of age the broody will begin distancing herself from the chicks to let them know they're on their own.
Here's a page with great info:
http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/search?q=broody+hatch

Go down about half-way on the page and you'll find the section on broodies/chicks after hatch.

Good luck and keep us updated!!
