New to raising chickens

We have two chickens, had 3 but one died yesterday, it was smaller than the the other two but yet came from the same store in the same bin they were in. any help will be much appreciated. We're not sure on ages, and are wanting to put up a coop this wkend and not sure if they are old enough to leave in coop over night. They are already trying to fly, and also if some sort of heat is needed for the coop after we set it up.

It's been in the 60's during the day, and 40's T night. Suppose to start going up in the 80's this week. Just had a lot of rain lately too. Could we put them in the coop if we use some sort of heat? Which is best to use? Help if I can plz
 
Hi and welcome to BYC. If they are fully feathered, then there should be no problem with them being out in the coop without heat. I should add, that before you do this, the chicks should already be weaned off the heat source in the brooder, and should be put outdoors for gradually increasing periods of time to let the become acclimatised to the cooler outdoor weather.

Looking at the photos, I'd be inclined to begin the weaning off the heat, and outdoor exposure now, with a view to putting them in the coop in a couple of weeks.
