New to Silkies

I didn't know where to put this thread so I thought this is the best spot. But any way im thinking about getting some silkies but I want to learn more about them from the perspective of owners or once owned chicken farmers!

Oh boy... a mixed bag just like all other breeds! Been raising, breeding, and hatching for a couple years now.

What is your main purpose for getting Silkies?

I want to show chickens but I wanted an easy breed to show and because of their personally and their broodyness
