I have perused this site often over the years for advice, and now I actually need some, so have joined, (please see in the goose thread, female toulouse goose problem)

I keep a flock of 21 chickens, 9 maran hens, 3 maran cockerels, a wyondotte, light sussex, naked neck, welsummers, and rhode island reds.

We also raise geese and turkeys for table birds.

I currently have four goslings that are a week old, another 6 eggs due to hatch in 2 weeks, I have just put 20 chicken eggs in the incubator, and have a trio of geese, (two toulose females and a white male)

Also in the household is a 3 year old boxer and an 18 month old lab cross. There is never a dull moment!

I hope your goose is OK.

I also hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]

Many thanks for the welcome, and apologies for not getting back sooner!
My flock has expanded by another 6 goslings, all hatched out on easter weekend!
I am now awaiting day 18 for the chicken eggs, which is the 20th), I desperately need an egg turning break!

For those that have been looking at my goose thread, I am pleased to report a massive improvement in her, after intense nursing, she is now up and mobile.
