Just made my first post.
First year with chickens.
I have one Longhorn pullet (hen?) hatched in March of this year; "Lursa"
One Jersey Black Giant; "Lilly"
Eight hatched in April of this year:
2 "red sex links" - they are the "henny pennies"
2 "amber sex links" - they are the "lemon jellies"
4 longhorn "pullets", THREE of whom are presently learning to crow.
And six "bantams" about a week behind the April crew
They are fluffy/furry, look like angry punk rockers, and have extra toes.
I am assuming they are silkies. One is suspiciously rooster looking.
I absolutely adore them and am dreading the day I have enough of the roos.
I also have four horses, 2 dogs, 3 cats, one man and (every other weekend), his two kids; 13 and 9.
