Welcome to BYC Rob! If you have any questions ask away. Do you know what kind of chickens you have?

    Welcome Rob,

Having your own farm fresh eggs is very nice, they do spoil you though if you ever have to go back to the commercial ones.

Michael O'Shay is right...the Learning Center is a very good place to begin. It's full of informative articles to help you with all aspects of taking care of chickens. And if you have questions, always feel free to ask.

Good luck to you, hope you can share a picture of your new flock!

Most likely they are Easter eggers. Do you have any one who could hold each so you can photograph them? I never can get any volunteers myself and no one wants to try using the camera. Welcome to Backyard chickens
