new to this egg hatching stuff..question?/??

    I was looking at some peoples incubators on here .And was wanting to know why some use jars of water with the lid on them for? This is probably a dumb questions ,but i wanna know...thanks BYC and today is Day 14 on my first test/trial on 4 eggs ...HAtch day @ Feb 3rd [​IMG] [​IMG]

    The more mass you have in the incubator, the more it is able to handle temperature spikes or drops. It is a way of stabilizing the incubator temperatures.
